Marriage Contract Outside the Court
What is the ruling for someone who wants to contract marriage with a civil lawyer because they are outside their country and then formalize it upon their return?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The contract must be in the Sharia courts, so that it is valid, binding, and preserves the rights of the spouses and the children. And God knows best.
