Marriage Announcement and Documentation in Court
Is it permissible to contract marriage with a woman in Gaza with a Sheikh in the hope of meeting her, and to avoid falling into what is forbidden, knowing that the woman is a widow and responsible for herself? What is the ruling on this marriage if it is with the knowledge of the family, but without the announcement of the marriage?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The contract must be in the courts; to establish the rights of the woman, and God knows best.
