Managing the Funds of Donations Dedicated to Quran Memorization
I am the director of a center for Quran memorization. A sum of money has been collected as an endowment for the center, but this amount is not enough to purchase a building for the center. Is it permissible to invest this amount in a project and have the returns or profits benefit the center?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: investing in it is a great financial risk due to its difficulty; therefore, you should strive more and more to obtain a building for the center, and God knows best.
