Making Up Fasting as a Precaution
A woman says she does not remember if she made up the fast for the first two years after reaching puberty. Is she required to make up the fast now as a precaution or is it a penalty?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If she is predominantly convinced that she did not fast, she estimates what she did not fast and makes it up without expiation, and God knows best.
