Lying to the Husband

Question
My husband gives me money, and I don't need it at that time, so I hide it for when I need it. When he asks me for money, I give it to him and say: it's a debt from my friend; so he can return it to me, then I hide it for when I need it, knowing that I only use this money for household needs?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to lie between spouses if it leads to interests and benefits that serve married life, and this does not appear in your situation. If you had been honest with him that this money was a surplus from the money I gave you, it would have been better. And God knows best.
