Lying in Dreams
I lied to my brothers that I saw our father in a dream; so that they would give charity for him or pray for him. Will I incur sin for this?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to lie for such a reason, and you have sinned with your actions, so you must repent and give charity as atonement for your deed, and God knows best.
