Loss of Zakat Money
A woman whose wealth reached the nisab and intended to give zakat, but this money was stolen from her, is she obligated to pay zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The zakat on wealth is dropped if it is lost or destroyed before paying its zakat, and God knows best.
