Leaving the First Sitting in Prayer
I am praying Asr and I finished the first rak'ah and stood up for the third without sitting for the first tashahhud. Should I pray the third or go back to the tashahhud?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You continue in the third rak'ah, and do not return to the tashahhud, and you must perform the prostration of forgetfulness for leaving the obligation, which is the first sitting, and God knows best.
