Invalidating the Fast of Qada after Starting It

Question
A woman intended to fast an extra day for Qada, then she went back and broke her fast. What are the consequences of her action?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: What you began fasting as a voluntary act is considered a supererogatory fast. If someone invalidates a supererogatory fast after starting it, they must make it up, and God knows best.
