Interrupting Prayer for a Compelling Reason
A person wanted to interrupt their prayer and leave it for a reason, for example, they noticed that their young son was playing with electricity and feared for him. Should they say the two salutations with the intention of leaving the prayer, and is it required to sit? Or is it valid to do so while standing, for example, to say the salutation and leave, then repeat the prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is better to exit with peace as it is, and this is preferable to exiting with words, and God knows best.
