Inability to Refund Money to Its Owner Due to His Absence
A person gave another person an amount for a certain service, and the service was not completed. The person traveled to his country, and now the person who took the amount wants to return it, but he cannot because the owner of the amount has changed his number. What should he do about the amount?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: he should preserve this money for its owner until he returns, even if he has to put it in a special bank account, and he should advise his family that if he dies, they should give this money as charity on behalf of its owner. And God knows best.
