Inability to Pay the Fidyah for Fasting
An elderly person is unable to fast and does not have the financial means to pay the fidyah. Is it waived for them?
Answer
Answer: I say, and with God's success: There remains a debt upon him, perhaps Allah the Exalted will facilitate its payment for him, and Allah knows best.
