Impurity of Thick White Discharges
A 56-year-old woman experienced thick, abundant white discharges resembling mucus during Ramadan. Since she goes to the mosque for Taraweeh prayers, she feels something wet coming down during the prayer, and it is difficult for her to pass by people, so she completes her prayer and seeks forgiveness for that. Is her action permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: A woman's discharges, if they are in the usual form of clarity and without color change, are pure and do not invalidate the ablution or make the clothes impure. The apparent nature of these discharges is impurity, and it is not permissible for her to remain in prayer, as her ablution is invalidated. And God knows best.
