Ijtihad Without Absolute Ijtihad

Question
If someone is not an absolute mujtahid and makes ijtihad on a matter, whether they are wrong or correct, do we consider them a sinner or what is their ruling?
Answer

I say, and with God's help: One who is not a mujtahid is not permitted to make ijtihad, and they are committing a major sin by tampering with the religion of God Almighty, and they are in great danger; because they are prohibiting and permitting on their own authority, and God knows best.
