Husband Refuses to Consult a Mufti in Case of Divorce
A woman whose husband swore by divorce that she should not do something, and she did it. Now he refuses to go to the Sheikh to obtain a fatwa on the divorce, and he says: I did not intend divorce, I only intended to threaten. They suggested that she feed ten needy people, is this permissible?

I say, and with God's success: She should go to the mufti to confirm the occurrence of the divorce, and she should ask the good people to intervene in this matter, and God knows best.
