How to Teach Children to Pay Zakat
A lady asks how to teach her children to pay the zakat on the salary they receive? And her daughter has an educational loan that she has not finished yet; does she have to pay zakat on the salary she receives?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: There is no zakat except for those who possess the zakat threshold, which is 100 grams of gold. As for salaries, zakat is not obligatory on them, and God knows best.
