How to Pay Zakat with Different Types of Wealth
Is it permissible to combine the Zakat of money that has not reached the Nisab with the Zakat of gold that has reached the Nisab, or should we pay the Zakat of each type separately?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The zakat on gold, silver, and money is combined together; because they are of a similar kind. If they reach the nisab, zakat is due on them, and God knows best.
