How to Make Up the Witr Prayer
If the Witr prayer is missed, when should it be made up? How many rak'ahs should be performed for the Witr? Note that the questioner follows the Shafi'i school.
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Witr is obligatory according to the Hanafi school, and it is made up before the Fajr prayer, consisting of three rak'ahs, and God knows best.
