How to Calculate Zakat on Wealth
What is the amount of zakat that must be paid from an amount of 5000 dinars? Knowing that I will pay the obligatory zakat from it?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The zakat is 2.5%, so it would be on 5000 dinars, 125 dinars, and God knows best.
