Horse Meat
Why is it not permissible to eat horse meat, while the narration states that Hatim al-Tai slaughtered a horse for his guests? How is its milk permissible while its meat is not?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The fatwa in the Hanafi school is that it is permissible to eat its meat and drink its milk, and God knows best.
