What is the ruling on fasting for someone who says, 'I will fast tomorrow if it is Ramadan, otherwise I will fast voluntarily'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Fasting is not valid due to the lack of intention, and it is disliked as a prohibition, and God knows best.
