Giving Fidyah for Fasting to the Husband and Children
I have kidney disease and cannot fast during Ramadan. Is it permissible for me to give my fidyah for fasting to my family, my husband and children, due to our difficult financial situation?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to give it to your husband and children, and you must give it to the poor, and God knows best.
