Gift of Inheritance: The Mother's Share to One of Her Children Over the Others

Question
A woman has three daughters and eight sons, and she inherited three shares from her husband's house. The sons and daughters received their shares, and her share remained, so she gifted it to three of her sons without the others. Will she be held accountable for this action, and what should she do?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible for her to give a gift to her son, and it would have been better for her to be fair among them unless one of them has a clear need. She should ensure that the consent of the children is achieved; because usually, they do not express their consent, but rather feel shy in front of their parents. And God knows best.
