Forgiveness in the Gift of the Mother

Question
My mother owns a piece of land worth 20,000, and she wants to write it in the name of my brothers, who are three males, while we, the daughters, are seven. My brothers decided to give each girl 1,000 dinars, and my mother asked us to forgive her and them, and we all forgave without exception. Does my mother have any sin in that or not?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: If forgiveness is granted, there is no sin on your brothers or your mother, even if this division is for everything your mother owns, and you want to allocate it to the children. However, it is most likely that this forgiveness is not a complete heart's contentment, but rather out of shyness, yet something remains in the soul from it. If your mother and brothers want to avoid sin, they should divide the inheritance such that each daughter receives an amount of 1500 D, and the son receives an amount of 3000 D. Thus, 20000 D should be divided among you, which is the value of the land, and God knows best.
