Forcing the Wife to Visit the Husband's Sister
Is it permissible for a husband to force his wife to visit his sister if she disrespects his wife, and his mother only approves if he visits his sister with his wife? In other words, can his mother be angry with him if he visits his sister alone?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible to force the wife to visit the husband's sister, and the wife must be protected from anything that humiliates her. The wife should treat the husband's family well and be patient with them, and all of this has its reward. God knows best.
