Following the Imam Without Connecting the Rows
Today I prayed Taraweeh with the Sheikh on the roof; because the mosque is close to us in the same neighborhood, and it is full of women, that's why I didn't go. Is it permissible for me to pray outside the mosque while I hear the voice of the Imam?
Answer
The prayer is invalid if the follower is not in the same place as the imam first, and if he is not aware of the imam's condition second. Due to the difference in the house, the place differs, so the prayer is not valid. And Allah knows best.
