Question
I study nursing in my final year and will start soon, God willing. I want to ask you about my work: here in Algeria, the percentage of female nurses is about 90%, and they are all women. The issue is that in our work, we do not differentiate between men and women, nor do we consider age when it comes to care. A patient may need to expose sensitive areas for medical necessity. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The principle is that we should avoid such things, and that men should be relied upon for similar matters unless there is a necessity and no one else can do it, and God knows best.
