I say, and with God's help: Fasting in Shawwal is recommended. Whoever fasts it will be rewarded, and whoever does not fast it will not incur any sin. It is not necessary to fast the entire month; one can fast some days. Fasting some days does not require fasting the rest, and God knows best.
