I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to fast the month of Shawwal with a general intention, or the intention of a voluntary fast, or the intention of fasting Shawwal. The intention is valid from sunset until the time of the great forenoon, which is one hour and fifteen minutes before noon, and God knows best.
