Fasting for One Who Thought She Had Cleansed from Menstruation Due to Illness
A woman believed that she had cleansed from her menstruation, and the next day she fell ill and had to break her fast to take medicine, then she discovered that she had not yet cleansed from her menstruation. Does she have to make up this day and is there any sin on her?

I say, and with God's success: She must make up the fast whether due to menstruation or illness, and both menstruation and illness are valid excuses for breaking the fast, so there is no sin upon her. And God knows best.
