Fasting According to the Astronomical Calendar
For some time, I have been following a widespread topic about an error in the Hijri timing, and there are mistakes in observing the months and that what we have fasted is not the month of Ramadan, along with claims about this. Is this true, and is there real evidence for the accuracy of the month calculations?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: What is considered for us is the state's ruling on fasting and breaking the fast, and we must adhere to what they say. If they fall short in this, their reckoning is with God Almighty, and God knows best.
