Fajr Adhan During Witr
I pray the Shaf' and Witr, and I was in the second rak'ah of the Shaf' when the Fajr Adhan was called. Can I complete the third rak'ah, and should I recite Surah Al-Ikhlas after Al-Fatiha, or should I just suffice with Al-Fatiha?
Answer
You must complete the third rak'ah and recite Surah Al-Fatiha and another Surah as an obligation; because the Witr prayer consists of three rak'ahs like Maghrib, and there is no Tasleem between them. In each rak'ah, there is Al-Fatiha and another Surah, and before bowing in the third rak'ah, it is obligatory to perform Qunoot. And Allah knows best.
