Question
I was working with a patient for home physical therapy sessions, and this patient was through an intermediary. I was giving the intermediary the agreed percentage. After a while, this patient stopped the sessions for personal reasons. Later, the patient contacted me to resume the sessions again. Am I required to inform the intermediary about the patient's resumption of the sessions, and consequently give him his percentage or not?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It appears that he was entitled to the commission the first time, but as for the second time, the agreement was directly between you and the patient, so he has no right to it, and God knows best.
