Exaggeration of the Faster in Rinsing Forgetfully
What is the ruling if a person exaggerates in rinsing during ablution, forgetting that he is fasting?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: In the case of forgetfulness, the Muslim is not present for the fast at all, so the act is excused, and God knows best.
