Question
A fasting person was performing ablution and blood came from his mouth, so he exaggerated in rinsing. Is this considered disliked? After exaggerating, I felt that water accidentally entered my throat, does this invalidate the fast?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is disliked to exaggerate in rinsing the mouth for the fasting person, and if water enters the stomach during rinsing, it invalidates the fast even if it is accidental, thus requiring a make-up fast. And God knows best.
