Equality in Gifts Among Children
I am a mother with 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls, and I do not work. I sold a piece of gold and helped my children, each with 300 dinars, giving the boys more than the girls due to their needs. Am I sinful for this?

I say, and with God's success: If they have a clear need, it is permissible for you to help the needy among them, whether a son or a daughter, and you will be rewarded for that. And God knows best.
