Enriching One Poor Person with Zakat Money
Is it better to distribute zakat money to the poor in such a way that each poor person receives enough to meet their needs, or to distribute it among many poor people to fulfill simple needs for them?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to distribute it in the way that the giver of zakat sees as more beneficial for the poor; it is a matter of estimation for him regarding what is more beneficial for the poor. And God knows best.
