Question

My child is two years old and very attached to the Holy Quran; he loves to carry it. I help him and give it to him, and I make sure not to damage it or let it fall, hoping to increase his love and attachment to the Quran. However, those around me quickly pull it away from him. Am I wrong in my actions?

Answer

I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to carry it while it is in front of you so that it does not fall; because honoring the Quran is a duty, and we do not want it to be a place of mockery, play, or disrespect, and God knows best.
