Eating from what was sacrificed as an offering to Allah, the Exalted

Question
I intended to sacrifice for the sake of Allah if He heals my son, but I did not verbally express the vow. Is it permissible for her to eat from it?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If you did not utter the formula of the vow, it is an act of devotion and gratitude to God Almighty, and it is permissible to eat from it. If it is a vow, it must be distributed to the poor, and it is not permissible to eat from it. And God knows best.
