Eating from Stolen Money

Question
If a person gives me a watermelon from the lands of the Jews that he has stolen, but he did not inform me that it was stolen, is it permissible for us to eat from the lands of the Jews without their knowledge? And if this watermelon was stolen from the lands of Muslims and I know that it is stolen, is the sin on the thief alone or am I sinful just for knowing that it is stolen?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The watermelon stolen from the lands of Muslims is a sin for the thief, and likewise, the eater is sinful if he knows. I do not think that stealing a watermelon from the Jews harms them; rather, it may cause problems for the Muslims. If that is the case, then the sin is on the thief and the eater if he knows. And God knows best.
