Eating During the Call to Prayer
What is the ruling on drinking water upon hearing the beginning of the Fajr call to prayer during Ramadan? Does it break the fast? I was eating and had a morsel in my mouth when I heard the caller say: 'Allahu Akbar.' I spat the morsel out of my mouth and drank water, and I do not know if I broke my fast with this or if my fasting is accepted.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If you drink water after the start of the second adhan, you have broken your fast, and you must make up for it, and God knows best.
