What is the ruling on drinking mate, which is an infusion of herbs like tea, but it causes addiction even though it does not contain any narcotic substances?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If it is not a drink that is commonly consumed by the wicked, and if it does not cause harm, then it is permissible, and God knows best.
