Doubt in the Number of Rak'ahs
If I doubt the number of obligatory Rak'ahs of Dhuhr and I think I prayed three, and I want to perform one more Rak'ah, should I do it after I say the Salam to the right and then stand up to perform the Rak'ah?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Do not say the salam to the right, but you should perform the rak'ah then say the salam and prostrate for forgetfulness, and God knows best.
