Doubt About the Number of Days to Make Up
There is a lady who says: She does not know or perhaps she forgot whether she has a debt from Ramadan or not. What should she do, please? How does she make up the old fasts, and does she owe a compensation?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: She should base her actions on the predominant assumption regarding what is required of her in terms of making up missed fasts, and she is required to offer expiation if she broke her fast without a valid excuse, and God knows best.
