Distribution of Property Among Children During Life
A woman received her inheritance from her family and wants to distribute it among her children while she is still alive. Should she distribute it equally, with the male child receiving the same as the female? And if she has a deceased son, should she give to his children, or do they have no right since he passed away before her?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible for her during her lifetime to manage her wealth as she wishes, and it is recommended to be equitable in giving among the children. She may give to the children of her deceased son. If she intends to divide the estate completely, she must consider the division of inheritance, where the male receives the share of two females.
