Differentiating Between Children in Gifts During the Father's Lifetime

Question
There is a father who sold land, and from that money, he gave some of the children living with him in the house 5 million; there are three of them, and the other two did not receive anything. One of them is of average condition, and the other is in a weak condition. As for the daughters, there are five; one of them was given the same amount as the boys, which is 5 million, while the others were given 20,000 dirhams, which is in Moroccan currency. What can we say about this father who did not treat his children equally, even though this son, who is of average condition, does not leave him in need of anything and always helps him in times of hardship, whether in sickness or anything he needs?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The father fears sin after the division among his children if there is no apparent reason for the differentiation in giving, and God knows best.
