Deliberate Fasting Break Due to Exams
I remember when I was in high school, I deliberately broke my fast one day during Ramadan without an excuse, and I knew that breaking the fast in Ramadan is forbidden, but I did not know the type of punishment?

I say, and with God's help: You have committed a major sin, and you are required to make up for it. There is a disagreement between the Hanafi and Shafi'i schools regarding the obligation of expiation, and it is permissible to follow the opinion of others concerning the lack of expiation.
