Question
Is it permissible for me to delegate someone who lives in Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray for me the voluntary prayers in exchange for giving him a sum of money, because he is in need, and because I cannot reach and pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to delegate someone to pray; because it is a physical act of worship that must be performed by the individual themselves; for no one can pray on behalf of another, and God knows best.
