Death Before Paying Off Credit Card Debt

Question
My deceased husband had a credit card, and he withdrew an amount of money with it, with a repayment period set at fifty-eight days. However, before the specified period, he passed away. An interest was added to the amount at a rate agreed upon with the bank, and I am unable to pay the amount. It is known that his mother and siblings absolved him of this debt. Some have told me to attach the death certificate to the bank, and they will then waive the debt. What will happen to my husband? Will he be held accountable for this?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the bank's system is the cancellation of the debt due to death, then there is nothing upon you; and if it is otherwise, it is recommended for you to pay the debt on his behalf to clear his liability, and God knows best.
