Dealing with the Boycott of Others

Question
If you are contacted and told not to communicate with them, my husband, and my children at all, knowing that we have not done anything wrong or bad towards them, does this lack of communication constitute a boycott? Knowing that if we were to communicate with them or do anything, the response from them would not be in a good manner, and God knows that we do not want to sever ties and we wish only good for all people, what should we do?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You should strive for reform as much as you can and behave well. If they remain in their current state, they are the ones severing the ties of kinship, not you. And God knows best.
